What to do with a blender?
Nowadays, so many different kitchen appliances have divorced that many housewives have a headache. They are not averse to replenishing their kitchen equipment, but they are often lost, confused, what for? Say, with a juicer or a dishwasher, everything is clear, but what is a blender? What to do with a blender?
Blenders are of two types, stationary and submersible.
- The stationary blender is a device with an electric motor inside, on which a special bowl with knives is installed on top of it. Such a blender is used most often for chopping ice, whipping and, especially, making various cocktails. Put ice cream, fruit or jam into the bowl, any ingredients you like, pour milk, close the lid and press the button. The stationary blender compares favorably with the fact that it should not be held in the hands, it will do everything itself. And cocktails, of course, can be made not only dairy.
- And what can be done with a submersible blender? Such a blender is a rather massive handle, on which various nozzles with knives are mounted and immersed in a special container. It is used most often for grinding various ingredients, fruits, vegetables, crackers, even the meat can be ground into mince, albeit in small portions. If you have a baby chest, you need it.
For an immersion blender, there are also attachments with a whisk for beating eggs or, say, a batter for pancakes. There are nozzles for kneading mashed potatoes. In some models there are special nozzles for cutting vegetables for salad.
All models of blenders differ in power, as well as the ability to switch speeds. The higher the power and the higher the rotational speed, the faster and better the work will be done. By its capabilities, a blender, of course, is inferior to a food processor, but it is cheaper and takes several times less space.
