Permanent representatives of the EU countries agreed on a decision to extend economic sanctions against Russia for another six months - until January 2016.
Now this initiative is to be approved by the foreign ministers of the EU countries. They should get together for a meeting on Monday. After that, the decision will come into force after confirmation from the leaders of the EU countries, who will gather in Brussels on June 25-26.
